CHINKY respects your privacy. This policy describes the main information that may be processed when you use CHINKY and the purposes for which it is used.
Information you provide
Depending on the features you use, CHINKY may process:
- Name, username, email address and phone number.
- Profile photo, bio, links and account settings.
- Posts, Sparks, Vibes, comments, messages and other content you choose to create or send.
- Support requests and information you provide when contacting CHINKY.
Information used with your permission
Some features may request access to:
- **Contacts** when you choose to find friends from your device contacts.
- **Location** when you choose to use a location-based feature.
- **Camera and microphone** for photo/video creation, calls or LIVE.
- **Photos, videos and files** when you choose media to upload.
- **Notification/device information** needed to deliver supported push notifications.
You can control device permissions through your device settings.
Payments, coins and wallet
If you use purchase, wallet or withdrawal features, CHINKY may process transaction identifiers, order status, wallet balances and related records needed to complete transactions, prevent abuse and provide support.
External payment providers may process payment credentials under their own privacy policies. CHINKY should not require storage of full card or UPI credentials when the payment provider handles those credentials directly.
How CHINKY uses information
Information may be used to:
- Provide registration, login and OTP verification.
- Operate profiles, Feed, Posts, Sparks, Vibes, messaging, calling and LIVE.
- Deliver notifications and preserve supported settings.
- Operate moderation, fraud-prevention, safety and account-security functions.
- Provide customer support and investigate technical problems.
- Improve reliability and content recommendations where those features are enabled.
Visibility and sharing
Information you make public may be visible to other CHINKY users. Privacy controls may affect who can see supported profile or content information.
CHINKY may use service providers for infrastructure, notifications, payments and other functionality where needed to operate the service.
CHINKY does not state that it sells your personal data.
Data controls
Supported account controls include:
- Privacy and notification settings.
- Data export requests.
- Account deactivation.
- Account deletion from **Settings > Account > Security > Account control**.
Data retention and deletion
Information may be retained while your account is active and as needed to operate the service, maintain security, resolve disputes, meet legal obligations or complete supported transactions.
When an account-deletion request is completed, information is deleted or retained only where a legitimate legal, security or transaction-record requirement applies.
Children and safety
CHINKY provides safety and family-related controls where supported. Users should follow the age requirements and safety rules applicable to the service and their location.
Policy changes
This policy may be updated when CHINKY features, legal requirements or data practices change. The latest version is published at:
